The Zilker Botanical Garden has to be one of the most underrated places in Austin. I went mainly for the Succulent Festival (photos of my haul to come), but our $2 admission fee (yes, $2 measly dollars!!) let us wander the gardens as well. WOW. My family and I didn’t even cover it all. There are many different gardens (Japanese, Herb, Rose, Prehistoric…) covering 26 acres. It’s certainly worth a visit.
I’m not much of a selfie person, but there were two particularly beautiful spots. I couldn’t help myself.

Loved spending the day in Westwood! My family and I went to see the UCLA gymnastics team (they won, go Bruins!) and then out to lunch. It was great to walk around campus and shoot with my iPhone Photojojo wide angle lens. The sky was beautiful, full of clouds.
